Britney Spears claims Zoe Saldana is expecting twins

The pop star might have unintentionally leaked her 'Crossroads' co-star's baby news when asked if she would like to work with the 'Avatar' actress again on another project.

Britney Spears and Zoe Saldana's friendship might be a crossroads.

After the "Crossroads" co-stars were seen together at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, the "Womanizer" singer was asked if she would like to work with Saldana again.

"Who knows? That's a very good idea," Spears told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday. "But she's pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she's got a huge future ahead of her."

The actress is expecting her first child - or children - with her husband, Italian artist Marco Perego. After months of rumors, the 36-year-old actress confirmed her pregnancy in an Aug. 19 video that showed her accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

The singer's slip comes not long after she and the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star expressed fondness for each other.
During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" last month, the "Avatar" actress defended her former co-star after a caller asked her opinion about Spears' voice on a leaked, non-Auto Tuned track.

"I have a huge amount of respect for Britney Spears," she said. "I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy and she's definitely an abundance of that."

"Nothing but great memories of working w u," Spears added.
