 The only woman to ever tie Clooney down with a wedding ring, Balsam married the actor in 1989. The two divorced in 1993, and Clooney has since claimed that he had been too young for marriage at the time.

3. Karen Duffy

 In the mid 90s, both Clooney and Duffy were at the height of their partying phases. The two dated during the same year in which Duffy was diagnosed with the rare disease sarcoidosis.
